No matter how much you think you have baby proofed your house, they will find something you missed! Troy decided to use one of our heating pipes in the dining room to assist him in standing up well apparently at that moment the pipe was about 200 degrees the little guy got quite a burn on his right hand! It did not blister right away which is why we waited to the next day to bring him to Dr. Amin. Dr. Amin said it was only a first to second degree burn but it looked really bad. He sent us to the Shriner's Burn Clinic in Boston. I am thankful to have great hospitals available to us. We are going there daily for about two weeks so that they can change his bandage. Troy has been such a good sport all along with this whole incident. Of course Mom feels horrible but accidents do happen. I did go out and buy insulation for both pipes in the dining room so as for that to not happen again. Of course he has gone over there several times since the incident and with one hand has tried to stand up.
